As a personal stylist and founder of Fitted by Jacy, I see firsthand how style impacts confidence, opportunity, and self-expression and how much room there is for growth in our market. The industry here may be smaller, but that also means there’s space to innovate and introduce services that people haven’t experienced before. Being born and raised in OKC my passion to be apart of the fashion industry made me feel like I would have to move far away to have an impact while living the life I dreamed about. After moving off to Dallas and then coming back to OKC it is even more clear to me that my dreams can come alive right here in the heart of the city.

While Oklahoma doesn’t have the same level of fashion events or celebrity driven styling culture as bigger cities, it does have a growing creative scene, a rising number of professionals, and a community eager to define its own style identity. There’s potential to be a leader in shaping how Oklahomans view personal styling ,moving it beyond special occasions and into everyday life. We are now a city that is home to NBA Champions that means this city is leveling up in a way we have never seen before. I want to be a voice in pushing forward a new identity for this city, redefining what fashion means. There is a blank canvas to establish a fashion identity in this small but mighty place that so many call home.

Social media can help bridge that gap, but it takes consistent effort to show the value and prove that styling isn’t just for the wealthy or famous.. it’s for anyone who wants to feel confident in what they wear. Paving a way for people to see the bigger picture is harder than it seems, but I am committed to being apart of the leg work to helping people see the value in the investments. Whether it’s curating a professional wardrobe for someone advancing in their career, refreshing a mom’s closet so she feels confident in her daily life, or helping a creative express their personality through fashion, the benefits go beyond clothing. A well-styled wardrobe saves time, reduces decision fatigue, and increases confidence which are all things that can have a real impact on everyday life here. There is no limit to who can benefit from what I have to offer. My hope and dream is not to just attract the rich and famous, rather I want everyday people feel like they have something to offer in this world… their BEST self. Looking your best does not come with a price tag, it is the most priceless thing we can offer others.
Building a personal styling business in Oklahoma is both challenging and exciting. The opportunity is real, but it requires persistence and willingness to break new ground in a market still discovering the value of what we do. For me, Fitted by Jacy isn’t just about clothes it’s about helping people in my city feel seen, confident, and ready to show up as their best selves. Oklahoma’s fashion scene may be growing, but I believe we’re just at the beginning of what’s possible. Helping people look and feel their best does not have to be attached to a “fashion forward” city, my goal as owner of Fitted By Jacy is to create space for Oklahoma City to be a top of the line. My main goal is to help give people a new found identity from the suburbs to the city.
